Update, as promised

A mother held her new baby and very slowly rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.
And while she held him, she sang: I'll love you forever, I'll like you always, As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

(excert from Love You Forever by Robert Munsch) A must read!!!!

Today Prentiss weighs in at 4 lbs 15oz. Luke weighs 4lbs 7oz. They are doing well, learning to suck, swallow, and breath at the same time. It is so amazing watching this process. Doctors told us not to get our hopes up for discharge by Christmas. Maybe by the end of week Prentiss will be out of isolette and into a crib...hope,hope. Today family members had to take a CPR class in preparation for discharge. We are getting closer........yeah!!!!

Your little ones are so sweet. I will pray that they continue to grow and get strong. I know you can't wait to get them home!

I am known as YaYa also to my neice and nephew. My nephew couldn't say Linda when he was little, so it came out YaYa- he's 7 now and since they has two other Aunt Linda's, I'm still Aunt YaYa-- and I love it:)

Merry Christmas and God bless,

Linda C

I'd still be getting my hopes up for a Christmas discharge. They are getting so big and are so cute. I know everyone is eager to get them home and care for them full time.
