HAPPY BIRTHDAY my little angels

Happy Birthday to my little angels. We will have to celebrate once discharged from the hospital. They seemed to be some better today. Attempts were made to wean Luke off oxygen today, but O2 sats dropped to 89....so had to go back on O2. Doctors are thinking it is viral pneumonia, which basically means....time and treat the symptoms. Prentiss is still getting steroids through his IV. They both are on antibiotics for ear infections. With all that said he are still trusting GOD. HE did not bring us this far to forsake us. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. Please continue to lift them up before the Lord.

Luke is taking a brief nap.

Prentiss thinking "what you doin yaya???"

Check out these "serious" eyes! HA!

In hospital

Last night Luke and Prentiss were admitted to the hospital, Blair Batson Children's Hospital
They ran high fever again last night. Doctors are not sure at this point what is going on. Still running tests. They are on oxygen, IV fluids, breathing treatments...Will keep everyone posted when I learn more. I have temp so I can't be there with them. It is very frustrating.
Their 1 st year birthday party for Saturday has been cancelled.

Trusting God

Please pray for Luke and Prentiss they are very sick tonight. Prentiss has fever 105.9. We took them out of day care Tues. at the doctors recommendation. They have been in daycare for a month and have not completed one week without being sick. This past weekend they were at the doctors after hours clinic 3 times. It is so hard to see them so sick. We are trusting God for His healing power.

AMAZING NEW DIET

Trip to Wal-Mart

Yesterday I was at my local Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for my loyal pet, Biscuit, the Wonder Dog and was in the checkout line when woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

What did she think I had, an elephant? So since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again.

(I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff an Irish Setter's a** and a car hit us both.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard.
Wal-Mart won't let me shop there anymore.

Better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in the world to think of crazy things to say.

Halloweeny is OFF

Our Halloweeny plans are off this year for the boys. They woke up this morning burning up with fever. We took them to the doctor this morning and they were put back on antibiotics. When does this end. As I have said before, they started daycare and this has really been difficult on them. We are hoping it won't continue much longer.
Oh brother, it is very difficult to hold babies with 102+ temp and hot flashing at the same time!!!! Can't you see the misting on the face????? I would laugh if it weren't so miserable!! HA!!

Happy Halloween everyone!! Be safe and have fun trick-0-treating!!! Look out next year....here we come....

Patiently awaiting

This photo was taken with Lil Dad's phone while Luke was patiently awaiting surgery. You can see he is wearing his little hospital gown. The procedure went well. They were back home by noon on Friday. The doctor said he just didn't know why his ear drums had not ruptured because there was so much pressure. Thank God for His goodness and mercy. God is good all the time.
