President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush

PRESIDENT BUSH and MRS. BUSH,

Enjoy your new home in Dallas as you begin your private life together again. There you can go to bed early, as you are want to do, without having the very weight of the world on your shoulders, and just savor the company of the beloved mate whom God has graciously and lovingly given to you.

How blessed you are...and how blessed we have been to have you leading us and providing such a wonderful example for us all! We will miss you more than words can say.

This country will not fully realize what you have done for us until you are gone from public view, but some of us DO understand what we have had, and we will mourn what we have lost when you are gone.

We can never fully describe what you have meant to us, but know that we admire and respect you in a way that is inexpressible and rare. You have blessed and enriched our lives, and we will be forever thankful to God for loaning you to us for these past eight years.

********as of Tues, Jan 20, 2009 we now have a new President Barrack Hussein Obama.....thus allowing former President George W and Laura Bush to "retire". The above statement came in an e-mail...couldn't have said it better!!

First, let me say that I totally agree with this post. The Bush's certainly deserve much better treatment than the press and a large part of this country's citizens have given them. I hope time will show how much they did for the USA. Next, I somehow missed your last two posts so I'm just seeing the Lemonade award and the post on the boys. Congratulations to you on receiving the award and thank you so much for passing it on to me! Just makes me smile all over. I'll get it on my blog soon. The boys are growing so much and they look like they are just little angels! Seems they are on the fast track to good times now. We'll keep them in our prayers and thanks for posting their progress. I will be passing an award on to you, too, very soon. Have had some computer issues which I hope are resolved next week. Till then, God bless. Sharon

This is an excellent post. I supported President Bush and I wish both of them a great retirement. I will pray for the new President too. It's so good to see that the little ones are doing so great. God is good. We are getting closer to the arrival of our little one. Blessings to you. Debbie

Yes, I am certain that history will be much kinder than the media has been to the Bush family. I couldn't help but wonder if the first morning after his leaving the White House if Laura brought him coffee in bed.

God bless them all.

Morning girl...I watched as the President & Mrs Bush got on the helicopter leaving the white house...my heart was so heavy for them as I sat there and prayed...I hope they can sigh a sigh of relief and just go on into their next chapter in their great lives. Those two little grandsons are adorable! Double the sweet dumpling cheeks to kiss! lol Hope you have a great Sunday!

Amen!

I supported President Bush and wrote about him and the classy first lady Laura Bush on my Speak on it blog. I appreciate your stance for them along with so many others and may we stand in prayer as a new administration has come in.

May GOD LEAD and no one else and may their be a stirring in the administration that is unsettling to them every time they go against GOD!!
