CHOCOLATE LOVERS

YOUR age by CHOCOLATE MATH

  1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)
  2. Multiply this number by 2
  3. ADD 5
  4. Multiply it by 50---I'll wait while you get the calculator!!
  5. If you have already had your birthday this year and 1759...if you haven't, add 1758
6. subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number. The first digit of this was your original number (i.e.,how many times you want to have chocolate each week)

The next two numbers are your AGE! (Oh yes, it is!!!!)

This is the only year this will ever work (2009), so spread it around while it lasts!!

Soap that looks like cheddar??

Sorry, I didn't include in the picture 2 TBSP of OXI-CLEAN powder

Looks like a block of cheddar cheese, doesn't it????
Finished product

I have been "studying" this for quite some time and trying different recipes, tweekin....tweekin.
I even tried it out on my mom, giving her a sample to try. So, she calls me last week and reported she absolutely LOVES the laundrey detergent. Requesting another supply.

Have you noticed the prices of "store bought" detergent? Of course, you have....whew. I makes me dizzy.

I even researched use with HE washers and found this works quite well. Note: I put the detergent inside with the towels,sheets...ets...others place it in the dispenser without any problems.
Just remember this may negate your warranty.

I haven't tried it with clothes, clothes...just with sheets, towels, etc.
Others, report it works well without fading.

Recipe: 3 cups Mule Team Borax Laundry Booster
3 cups Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
2 bars FelsNaptha Soap
2 tablespoons Oxi-Clean powder

Grate soap using cheese grater. Combine all ingredients and stir well. Store in sealed container or Zip-Lock bag. Use 2 tablespoon per load. Use 1 tablespoon with HE.
This averages about 7 cents per load. Quite cheaper than store bought.

Another one bites the dust

Another one bites the dust!! What is this all about??? What is this craze? I think it is overcoming all my friends...it's called fb, Facebook. I have lost numerous friends to this epidemic. How do you recover them? They seem to be addicted and lost all desire to post in bloggerland. This is so disturbing for those of us who have not learned to "farm". How do you "farm" when you have no land, no dirt, no crops???? It is all very strange to me. How do I know they are lost of this phenomina? Someone sent me a e-mail today and told me I could post it on my blog. Why are THEY not posting on their own blog one may ask. They are too tired and busy "farming"!!! I also hear there is another epidemic as well, something called TWITTER.....I hope I don't lose all my bloggy friends.....I will miss them...
Who knows maybe one day I may disappear from bloggy land and be "eaten alive" by this thing called FACEBOOK. Have you lost any friends from bloggyland to this epidemic? Help me to understand!!!

Hey Ethel!!! Happy Birthday to you...you thought I forgot, didn't you???? I won't elaborate on the NUMBER!!! HA!!!!

I received this e-mail and immediately thought of Luke and Prentiss. HA!! Look out Lil Mom and Dad. tee-hee!! :)

The boss wondered why one of his most valued employee had not phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. "
Hello ? "

"Is your daddy home?" he asked.

"
Yes ," whispered the small voice.

May I talk with him?"

The child whispered, "
No ."
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, "Is your Mommy there?"

"Yes."

"May I talk with her?"

Again the small voice whispered, "
No ."

Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, "Is anybody else there?"

"
Yes ," whispered the child, " a policeman ".
Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, "May I speak with the policeman?"

"
No, he's busy ", whispered the child.
"Busy doing what?"

"
Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman ," came the whispered answer.

Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, "What is that noise?"

"
A helicopter " answered the=2 0whispering voice.
"What is going on there?" demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.

Again, whispering, the child answered, "
The search team just landed a helicopter ."

Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, "What are they searching for?"

Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle...

"
ME ."

Visit from "Grandma" Rockie

Where did the week go?? We got to meet our Aunt Roxanne, AKA "Grandma Rockie" from Baltimore, MD. She flew in and spent the week with us. We had so much fun. We initiated her "right". The first day in Mom had to get her CPR cert re-newed so we stayed with GR for 4 hrs.....Well, she survivied. So, I suppose she made of some "good stuff".

We just had a fun time while she was here. We think we got a little bit more "spoiled" if that is possible.

While here this week we got to be introduced to eating "real food"...YUM... the speech therapist ( yes...a speech therapist HA! and we aren't even talking yet!!!) told mom to put crunched fish crackers on our trays. Boy, what fun......

Luke is saying....."oh yeah!!! come on brother just dive in there!!!!'
Prentiss is saying....."you want me to do WHAT?"....I dont think I want that stuff all over me"
Of course, then we had to have a bath....it never ends for Mom......from one thing to another ALL DAY LONG>>>>>what was that beep?.....I think it was the dryer.....hey Mom....it's time to finish up the laundry!!!! HA!!!! on and on and on.
