Report
Today the doctors gave the following report: Prentiss has a Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) He also has a atrial septal defect (ASD). Tonight they started an IV and will be giving him medication for the PDA and will repeat the ECHO test on Sunday. It was not known at this time the plan for treatment of the ASD. We are trusing God for complete healing. Mom and Dad got to hold them tonight before leaving the hospital. I think it did Mom and Dad as much good as the babies for them to be held. They are holding up well under all the stress. I know that is because God is giving them the strength. Will continue to keep you updated. Thank you for all your prayers.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you
Psalm 139:13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place....All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Before anyone ever knew that little mom was expecting, God already knew Prentiss and Luke. They have never been out of his sight or his hands. God said it and that settles it for me. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS GREATNESS!!!!
Thank you for the encouraging comment. Love you lots!!

I came over today from Needled Mom when I read that you have new preemie twin grandbabies. Mine will be a year on January 7 - they were 7 weeks early and weighed 2 lbs. 15 oz. and 3 lbs. 5 oz. When they weighed about 3 weeks ago, they weighed 13 and 14.5. The tiny one ripped the oxygen out of her nose the first morning, and they didn't have to put it back in. They were very blessed with health and swere in NICU for 4 weeks.
Unfortunately, I had to go private a few months ago, which takes a lot of the fun away, but if you'd like to visit me and share twin stories and pictures, you can send me your e-address and I can invite you at dawn.carlson@colostate.edu
